Accessibility Statement

We believe the web should work for everyone. Here’s our commitment to accessibility — on this site and in the websites we build.

Last updated: July 28, 2026

1. Our commitment

Mission Web Agency US is committed to making our website — and the websites we build — accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

This matters to us because of who we serve. Nonprofits, mosques, and faith and community organizations exist to welcome everyone, and their websites should do the same. Accessibility isn’t an add-on for us — it’s part of doing this work well.

2. Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Because this has not been independently verified through formal testing, we describe accessibility as something we are actively working toward, and some areas may still be in progress. We do not claim full conformance.

In plain terms, WCAG 2.1 Level AA is a widely recognized standard for making web content easier to see, hear, understand, and use — including for people who rely on assistive technology.

3. What we do to make this site accessible

We’ve built this site with accessibility in mind, including:

  • Semantic HTML structure and a logical heading order
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and interface elements
  • Full keyboard navigation
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
  • Clear, visible focus states
  • Readable fonts at comfortable sizes
  • A responsive, mobile-friendly layout
  • Clearly labeled forms
  •

4. Accessibility in the websites we build

We build accessibility into client websites by default — WCAG-minded design, sufficient contrast, descriptive alt text, keyboard support, and accessible, clearly labeled forms.

This is good practice and good strategy: accessible websites welcome more supporters, are easier for everyone to use, and are increasingly expected by funders and grant programs.

5. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible.

We’re actively working to identify and improve these areas, and we welcome your help in spotting anything we’ve missed.

6. Feedback and contact

If you encounter any difficulty using this site, please tell us. We’ll do our best to fix it and to provide the information you need in another way.

We aim to respond within 1 business day.

7. Assistive technology compatibility

This site aims to work with common assistive technologies, including screen readers, browser zoom, and keyboard navigation.

8. Ongoing effort

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time task. We review our website over time and make improvements as standards evolve and as we learn from the people who use it.

This statement reflects our current accessibility efforts and will be updated as the site evolves.
